SUMMARY

Almond oil is extracted from the kernels (seeds) of almonds, which are the edible nuts of the almond tree. Almond oil is a favorite in skincare products because of its ability to hydrate skin, reduce dryness and calm irritation and inflammation. Almond oil is commonly used in skincare products including cleansing oils, creams, lotions and serums. Almond oil can also be used as a carrier oil for essential oils and in facial oils to provide a natural and gentle solution that maintains skin health.

ORIGIN

Almond oil and almond trees are native to regions of the Middle East and South Asia but are now cultivated in many parts of the world like the United States and Mediterranean countries.

SKIN TOLERANCE

Almond oil is generally well-tolerated on most skin, but individuals with nut allergies should use caution and conduct a patch test before use.
