SUMMARY

Grapeseed oil is a vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of grapes, primarily those used in winemaking. It's a lightweight and odorless oil that's rich in essential fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid and oleic acid. Grapeseed oil is valued in skincare and cosmetics for its non-comedogenic properties, quick absorption and high content of antioxidants. Grapeseed oil is often included in products like creams, lotions, serums and facial oils designed to hydrate, nourish and protect skin. It can also be used as a carrier oil for essential oils in aromatherapy and massage oils.
