Sunflower seed oil is a lightweight vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the sunflower plant (helianthus annuus). It's rich in essential fatty acids like linoleic acid and is used in skincare products like creams, lotions, serums, facial oils and even sunscreens for its emollient properties that help nourish and hydrate skin.

ORIGIN

Sunflower seed oil is sourced from the seeds of the sunflower plant, which is native to North America but now cultivated worldwide. The oil is extracted through cold-pressing or solvent extraction methods.

SKIN TOLERANCE

Sunflower seed oil is generally well-tolerated on skin and rarely causes allergic reactions.
